Since 1998, the world’s most colourful event has taken place every year in Austria. The “World Bodypainting Festival” is the biggest art event in the bodypainting theme and ten thousands of visitors admire the wonderful work of the participants. Aritsts from 40 nations worldwide come to this unique event and put body art into the mountain and lake scenery.

Pörtschach at the lake Wörthersee near the state capital Klagenfurt is the new location for the next years. The festival week is held from 27th June - 3rd July 2011.
The new "Bodypaint City" offers easier travel access plus great socializing possibilities and inspiration.

The town Pörtschach, the most impressive location in the state surrounded by turquoise water, is the perfect backdrop for the art form. The very compact town locates all programs within just a few hundred meters. The Congress Center offers space for most of the workshop classes and the "Fabrik", an old factory, is the new Body.Circus location.
